Ing. Kateřina Rubáčková
Kateřina has been with Elmarco for 16 years, starting her journey as a Research Engineer. In this role, she worked on developing solution recipes and process optimizations for nanofiber production, exploring various application areas for nanofibrous products.
Later, she joined the Customer Support team, where she leveraged her development skills and machine expertise to provide training on operating LAB-scale machines. Kateřina played a vital role in supporting customers globally with their development needs, promoting the electrospinning method, offering service advice for machine troubleshooting, and participating in installation and training programs.
Over time, Kateřina also expanded her contributions to the Sales Team, where she now focuses on the sales of pilot-scale machines and partially on industrial-scale technology. She leads customized research projects and sampling initiatives for small-volume, large-scale nanofiber production.

Electrospinning process DEMO & Nanofibrous layer analysis
During the workshop, we will demonstrate the electrospinning process using a LAB-scale machine to spin water-soluble polymers. Our focus will be on the key machine-controlled parameters that contribute to effective and highly productive electrospinning.
We will cover the most commonly used analytical methods for evaluating the quality of nanofibrous layers. Participants will receive a microscopic evaluation of fiber diameter in relation to individual product specifications, alongside demonstrations of area weight and thickness measurements. We will also showcase contact angle measurement techniques, all applied to various nanofibrous layer materials.
Additionally, we will provide samples of electrospun coated non-wovens and nanofiber membranes designed for critical applications. Our discussions will highlight important product parameters and explore market trends that will drive future growth in the nanofiber market.
