Ivan Ponomarev PhD.
Ivan Ponomarev is the Head of Chemistry&Technology Department at ELMARCO s.r.o. (Czech Republic). He got master’s degree at Russian University of Chemical Technology, Moscow, Material technology and new composite material technology and PhD. degree at A.N. Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow working on “Synthesis of high-tech polymers for fuel cells, design of membrane electrode assemblies”.
In 2009 Ivan started his career as Lab Technician at Elmarco company - world leader in industrial nanofiber equipment production based on patented Nanospider™ technology. Being later R&D project manager from 2010 till 2015. Since 2015 Mr. Ponomarev leads Chemistry&Technology department and is member of Elmarco management team. Chemistry&Technology department is responsible for Nanospider technology and nanofiber application development. Air & liquid filtration, waterproof membranes, life science and energy fields already adopted nanofibers at industrial scale. Therefore, Chemistry&Technology department is focused on up-scaling of different polymers from Laboratory (0,5 m width) to industrial scale (up to 2,5 m width).

Environmental, ecological and sustainable approach in electrospinning technique to produce polymeric micro/nanofibers
The production of micro and nanofibers through the electrospinning technique is a well assessed technology that finds application in a variety of fields. Indeed, the specific features of electrospun fibers, as well as the possibility to be modelled and functionalized, ensure their great versatility. In the last decades, the widespread use of electrospun fibres promoted studies related to the evaluation of both human health and environmental risks associated to their handling and exposure. This presentation will introduce the new recipes based on sustainable and ecological raw materials, energy effective solutions and better waste air treatment.
