Global Air Filtration Standards: A Comparative Analysis
Air filtration standards are paramount in safeguarding public health and maintaining indoor air quality. While international standards offer a foundational framework, countries such as Japan and China have established their own specific regulations to address their specific environmental concerns and regulatory mandates. As the field of air filtration advances, staying abreast of the latest standards and technologies is essential for selecting optimal filtration solutions across diverse applications and markets. This workshop will present a comparative analysis of the key air filtration regulations in Japan (JIS B 8137 and JIS B 8140), China (GB/T 18800 and GB/T 30587), the United States (ASHRAE 52.2 and 62.1), and Europe (ISO 16890 and 29463), along with practical guidance on tailoring product performance to meet the requirements of each market.
